Two of the nation's most powerful female politicians are coming to Minnesota this week on Democratic campaign missions.
Nancy Pelosi, the speaker of the U.S. House, will be at Kevy's Kafe in Bloomington for a news conference at 11 this morning on behalf of congressional candidate Ashwin Madia. Joining her will be U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, and Margaret Andeson Kelliher, the speaker of the state House.
On Tuesday, Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., will be on the Iron Range. The former presidential candidate appears at a rally at Memorial Arena in Hibbing on behalf of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama and U.S. Senate candidate Al Franken. Arena doors will open at 6 p.m.
