Minnesota United FC will play host to the Ottawa Fury on Aug. 2 at TCF Bank Stadium in a North American Soccer League (NASL) match after the Guinness International Champions Cup match between Manchester City and Olympiacos.
Kickoff for the match between the two European clubs, which will be broadcast internationally on Fox Sports 2, is 2 p.m. Minnesota United will kick off at 4:30 p.m. Its match will be televised on KSTC45-TV.
"Fans at TCF Bank Stadium will witness one of the greatest professional soccer events in Minnesota history," United President Nick Rogers said in a press release. "This is going to be a great day for soccer in Minnesota."
