1. Nathan MacKinnon, Avalanche: Game-winning goal in overtime and had two assists.

2. Jared Spurgeon, Wild: Played in pain after blocking a shot, he was plus-2, had an assist and stole puck before Kyle Brodziak’s goal.

3. Dany Heatley, Wild: Assisted on two goals after being scratched in Games 1 and 2.

Turning point

Trailing 2-1 after two periods, Zach Parise and Brodziak scored 1:51 apart by the 6:25 mark of the third period to give Minnesota a 3-2 lead. But with 1:14 left, P.A. Parenteau forced the third overtime of the series on his sixth shot of the game.
