Hugh with the fringe on top

Hugh Jackman trades in his Wolverine claws for cowboy attire in "Rodgers & Hammerstein's 'Oklahoma' " (8 p.m. Friday, TPT, Ch. 2), a stage production from 1998. The musical is quite lightweight, but does include such tunes as "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin' " and "People Will Say We're in Love."

Requiem from a heavyweight

"Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth" (7 p.m. Saturday, HBO), a one-man show starring the ex-boxer, sounds like a terrible idea, but Tyson is surprisingly effective as he connects with a powerful, often hysterical, script penned by his wife, Kiki. For a story on Tyson and the show's director, Spike Lee, see Saturday's Variety section.

That '70s show

Kick off your disco shoes and dig "Minnesota in the '70s" (7 p.m. Sunday, TPT MN), a new documentary produced by TPT and the Minnesota Historical Society with spotlights on Wendell Anderson, Herb Brooks and state Sen. Allan Spear. The film is based on a new book by Dave Kenney and Thomas Saylor.

I, robot

The idea of a cop teaming up with a robot is so ridiculous it became a running gag on "Friends," but "Almost Human" (7 p.m. Sunday, KMSP, Ch. 9) comes from "Star Trek" director J.J. Abrams, which means it deserves your attention. Karl Urban and Michael Ealy are perfectly cast as the ultimate odd couple.
