• HUTCHINSON 48, ORONO 7: The Tigers rushed for an unofficial 596 yards Friday and ran past the Spartans. It was the 16th consecutive victory for the defending Class 4A state champions.

• ANDOVER 40, COON RAPIDS 14: Connor Wilkie passed for 289 yards and three TDs and Derek McLaughlin rushed for 157 yards and three TDs to lead the Huskies, ranked No. 8 in the Star Tribune Metro Top 10.

• GLENCOE-SILVER LAKE 48, ANNANDALE 28: Dalton Clouse rushed for 237 yards and two TDs for the Panthers.

• Dassel-Cokato, playing its first game since LB Luke Nelson suffered a severe head injury, defeated host Fairmont 31-21. According to the Fairmont Sentinel, the Fairmont booster club raffles off an autographed football before each home game and proceeds from Friday's auction were to go to the Nelson family.
