Attack of the Best of the Brave New Workshop
Opening: You wanted them, now you got them. This greatest hits collection of the past few years brings back sketches from "Rainbow Election," "Obama Mia" and "How to Make Love Like a Minnesotan." But in a slight twist on the familiar rehash formula, the Workshop promises that it will dig into the archives for material "not seen in decades." It could be fun to see what gets unearthed. Caleb McEwen directs a cast of Lauren Anderson, Andy Hilbrands, Taj Ruler, Matt Erkel and newcomer Tom Reed, who has been a Fringe favorite and a player in two Mixed Blood musicals. (Previews 7:30 p.m. Thu.-Fri., opens 8 p.m. Sat. Ends Nov. 2, 824 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls., $25-$30, 612-332-6620 or bravenewworkshop.com)
