With the aid of significant donors, four large suburban schools — Eden Prairie, Edina, Minnetonka and Wayzata — continue to increase their dominance at the state level. The four schools won 23 percent of all large-school state titles from 2002-03 through 2006-07 and 35 percent in a five-year span starting in 2007-08. This year the four schools already have won 11 state team championships out of a possible 19 large-school athletic titles. This year's haul:
