Four wolves were taken in Wisconsin on Saturday, and two more on Sunday, making 18 killed so far in the Wisconsin season that began Oct. 15.

Eight of the harvested animals were taken by trap, with the remainder felled by gun.

None of the animals wore research collars.

Eleven of the wolves were males, seven females.

Three were taken in Vilas County, and three in Bayfield County.
