Believe it or not, Chicago's Devin Hester has gone 11 months without a kick return for a touchdown. But help could be on the way Monday night. A Lions team that has given up two punt returns and two kickoff returns for touchdowns this season visits Chicago. "We see some opportunities there," said Hester, whose last return for a touchdown came against the Lions last November.

Is there no bottom to the depths of Twitter's septic tank that reporters will fish for reactions from players? Ngum Suh, the sister of Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, tweeted that she was looking forward to "#freedom" in 2 1/2 years, insinuating the end of her brother's contract with the Lions. "What my sister tweets is what she tweets; it has nothing to do with me," Suh said while trying to explain that his sister's tweet doesn't mean he wants to leave Detroit.

In last week's 42-24 win at Houston, Green Bay's James Jones became the first Packers receiver to catch two touchdown passes for a third consecutive game since Hall of Famer Don Hutson in 1943. Jones also has become the kind of red-zone target the Vikings would have loved to have had at Washington last week. Aaron Rodgers has thrown 11 red-zone touchdown passes. Seven of them have gone to Jones.
