The only methadone treatment center in northern Minnesota was slapped with a license revocation Monday for myriad violations.
Hats off to the to Duluth News Tribune. The paper's series of investigative reports on methadone treatment is getting lightning quick results. Eights days after the series began, the state Monday revoked the license of the Duluth methadone clinic because of several violations of state and federal law.
The Lake Superior Treatment Center is the only one that treats opiate addiction north of St. Cloud and had 400 patients enrolled this summer. Here's the latest from the Duluth newspaper.
