Rays fans have gotten in touch with their inner cowbell, so it's something that you just have to deal with at Tropicana Field.

And, in this post-World Cup period, many fans have blown vuvuzelas during the games here.

Today is a day game, so the local Parks and Rec have busloads of children pouring into the stadium.

And those kids have brought Thunderstixx.

(frustrated grunt!)

There are many people here who didn't leave the park until 12:30 am and are back early. I don't know about you, but I can't go right to sleep after deadline. I got  back to the hotel, surfed the net and went to sleep at 2 a.m. I woke up at 6:30 this morning. Hit the snooze bar once.

I arrived at the park at 8:30. The clubhouse opened at 8:40. I went down at 9 a.m. And only three players had arrived. At 9:10, the coaching staff rolled in, followed  by players, Now we have to prepare for this cacophony.

Reliever Jon Rauch, who changed into baseball clothes - then changed back into civilian clothes, He still has blisters and left the park to see another doctor.

Twins manager Ron Gardenhire shocked us by announcing that Rauch has hand, foot and mouth disease.  The plan is for him to travel with the team to Cleveland, but it's unknown when he'll be available to pitch with those blisters on his hands.
