House Speaker Paul Thissen and other House GOP leaders prepared to enter their news conference. House Democrats unveiled their budget priorities including asking those making more than $500,000 to come up with about $854 million over the next two years, paying back K-12 public schools.

 

A DFL staffer took down the press conference sign used to illustrate Minnesota's future.
