Rep. John Kline, R-Minn., is in Colombia today on the second leg of a three-nation South American journey with a bipartisan congressional delegation led by House Speaker John Boehner. The delegation has a meeting scheduled with Colombia's president Juan Manuel Santos. Among other things, they were to talk about implementation of the hard-fought Colombia free trade agreement, which Congress passed last fall. The agreement was touted by backers for giving U.S. farmers duty-free access for key American exports. The seven-member delegation is visiting the top three U.S. export markets in Latin America: Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. The first leg of the trip covered Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia.
