In another infusion of cash from outside organizations, the national AFL-CIO has sent $98,076 to its state counterpart for use in supporting or opposing candidates in the 2010 Minnesota elections.
The money comes on the heels of $950,000 last week by the Republican Governor's Assocation to the pro-business MInnesota's Future, part of $2.2 million that the association has sent Minnesota's Future this year. The Democratic Governor's Association had sent $1.5 million to a pro-union group in Minnesota.
Meanwhile, Alliance for a Better Minnesota, the biggest spending liberal group, just got another $50,000, this time from the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.
