Minnesota's Waiting Child

Jovan, 14, has an upbeat personality that lights up the room. He is friendly, outgoing and talkative once he gets to know someone. Jovan has a great sense of humor and likes to laugh. He enjoys his relationships with others and can relate well to both peers and adults. Jovan enjoys being active and participating in all kinds of physical activities. He loves sports and has enjoyed playing on a basketball team and swimming recently.

Jovan would prefer to live in the Twin Cities metro area. He would prefer to live with a two-parent family and is open to a family of any cultural background. Jovan would do best as the only child in the home. He does well with lots of one-on-one attention and structure and would benefit from a strong male presence. Following adoption, Jovan would need to maintain contact with his siblings and several members of his biological family.

To learn more about Jovan, contact Minnesota Adoption Resource Network (MARN) at 612-861-7115. If you do not have a home study and are wondering how to start your adoption process, visit the MARN website at www.mnadopt.org/informationpacket.html.
