I just got some costumed production photos from the Guthrie, for those of you curious about how Vincent Kartheiser of "Mad Men" fame looks in muttonchops and period costume as Mr. Darcy in "Pride and Prejudice."
The play based on the Jane Austen novel opens Friday night at the Minneapolis playhouse, directed by Joe Dowling.
Kristin Tillotson recently profiled Kartheiser, who grew up in Apple Valley and performed as a child at Children's Theatre Company and the Guthrie.
Will Kartheiser's fiancee, actor Alixis Bledel, seen below at a recent Guthrie gala, make it to the opening? Stay tuned.
