Would you do anything different if you found out today that you had only six months to live? That question, troubling for some, liberating for others, is one of many that Twin Cities-based actor, writer and theater founder Candy Simmons addresses in "Expiration Date." The 70-minute, one-person one-act orbits the irreverent, raw and unsentimental Lucille, who has a terminal diagnosis. Simmons, who has been making a splash on the small-theater circuit with performances in plays by other writers, including Alan Berks ("How to Cheat"), uses video and dance (choreographed by Tamara Ober of Zenon Dance Company) for this wry take on end-of-life questions.
