Larry David just hit the jackpot for calling Donald Trump "a racist" on "Saturday Night Live."

While the "Curb Your Enthusiasm" creator probably doesn't need the cash, he's about to collect $5,000 courtesy of an immigrant rights group for heckling Donald Trump this weekend on "SNL."

"Trump's a racist!" David shouted at the end of the GOP presidential candidate's monologue. When asked by Trump why he was shouting, David answered, "I heard if I did that, they'd give me $5,000."

The interruption was part of a scripted gag on the NBC sketch series. But advocacy group Deport Racism said it still plans to make good on the offer to reward any audience member who shouted "Trump's a racist" during the live broadcast.

"#LarryDavid wins $5K "bounty" from http://DeportRacism.com for calling Trump RACIST on #SNL. Joke or not, it's true," the group tweeted Sunday morning.

In a statement last week, Deport Racism explained why it planned to offer the "bounty."

"NBC's refusal to drop Trump has put us in the position of dropping $5,000 of cold hard cash to anyone who will yell out 'Trump is a racist' during the live broadcast of 'Saturday Night Live,'" said Santiago Cejudo, an organizer for the Deport Racism PAC, on Wednesday.

Trump's "SNL" hosting gig had drawn criticism since NBC announced the booking several weeks ago, with Hispanic groups blasting the presidential contender for calling Mexican immigrants "rapists" and "criminals."

On Saturday, activists marched from Trump Tower to Rockefeller Center ahead of the show to protest his appearance.

But the march and calls for a boycott apparently had no impact on the ratings. Thanks to a Trump bump, the show scored its best ratings in nearly four years.

According to NBC, "SNL" averaged a 6.6 rating and 16 share in metered-market households on Saturday night. Those are the show's best overnight numbers since Jan. 7, 2012, when Charles Barkley hosted with musical guest Kelly Clarkson.
