Families with children 12 and younger can celebrate New Year's Eve with inflatable moonwalks, obstacle courses, mini golf, bingo, outdoor ice skating, raffle prizes, a DJ and more at Valley Crossing Community School, 9900 Park Crossing.

The event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and the countdown to 2014 will begin at 7:45 p.m.

Tickets cost $7 per person (for anyone older than 2) if registered before noon on Monday. Tickets also can be purchased at the school on New Year's Eve at $9 per person if available.

Typically the event sells out, organizers said, and participants should be aware that no concessions will be available.

To buy tickets, call the Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department at 651-714-3583. No refunds will be made, the city said.

The event is co-sponsored by the city of Woodbury, Parks and Recreation Department, Footprints Academy and Peace of Mind Early Education Center.
