The Gophers men's basketball team, coming off a 24-10 season, will not play Wisconsin at home during the 2017-18 season. The last time that happened was in 2010-11.

Under the Big Ten's unbalanced schedule, Wisconsin is one of eight teams the Gophers will play only once, and that game will take place in Madison. The other road-only opponents are Maryland, Michigan and Penn State.

The Gophers will have single games against Illinois, Michigan State and Rutgers at Williams Arena. Their only game against Ohio State will be at Madison Square Garden in New York on Jan. 20.

Filling out the 18-game Big Ten schedule will be home and away games against Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Northwestern and Purdue.

The Gophers women's team will play a 16-game conference schedule:

Home and away: Iowa, Penn State, Wisconsin.

Home only: Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska.

Away only: Illinois, Northwestern, Ohio State, Purdue, Rutgers.

Dates and times, along with full nonconference schedules, will be announced later this summer.
