The old phrase "Who does not love wine, women and song / Remains a fool his whole life long" got a tweak at the benefit for the University of Minnesota's Amplatz Children's Hospital. The Wine, Women & Shoes event featured a "walk-around wine and food tasting" as well as a marketplace of designer shoes, boutique attire, artisan jewelry and accessories. Models showing the latest looks sauntered through the McNamara Alumni Center, and the Shoe Guys tempted guests with designer shoes presented on silver platters.
