Thanks to a couple Wild fans on Facebook, there will be a public memorial tonight to honor Derek Boogaard at Xcel Energy Center. The event will take place at Gate 1 and is scheduled to go from 6-9 p.m.
Boogaard's family -- parents Len and Joanne, brothers Aaron and Ryan, sister Krysten and half-brother Curtis, was so touched, they will be attending, although they're asking for privacy.
"When we heard about it, we all immediately wanted to go," said Ryan.
