Wide receiver Percy Harvin was listed as questionable for the NFL title game on Sunday in New Orleans because of a recurrence of migraine headaches, and Vikings coach Brad Childress said Friday that the team will "just have to see how [Harvin] comes along" in the next two days.

Harvin remained at home Friday after having another episode of the headaches that forced him to miss practice on Thursday and Friday. "It's less than ideal but he's played under the same circumstances this year," Childress said, referencing the fact that Harvin has dealt with migraines during the week a few times this season and then returned to play on Sunday.

Asked about the practice time Harvin missed, Childress said: "You don't make it up because the two days of practice are two days of practice. With that said, he got in a base game plan on Wednesday, got through the kickoff return area, which is a point of emphasis on Wednesday."

Harvin has dealt with migraines since he was 10 years old. Despite numerous issues with them again this season, he was able to play in all but one game. He missed the Vikings' victory over the Bengals on Dec. 13. Harvin made a trip to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., shortly thereafter and had no known problems with migraines until this week.

But Childress said "it's hard for me to even handicap that," when asked if this situation seemed similar. "They all vary in difference and intensity and time period and that type of thing," Childress said.

The Vikings are scheduled to leave for New Orleans on Saturday afternoon and Childress did allow that if Harvin's migraines don't clear up that putting him on a plane could be an issue. "It could [be]," Childress said. "I don't think we're going to use the Madden Cruiser or anything and take him down the 57 Corridor. But it can be a factor with those type of headaches. If my recollection serves I think he got on the plane with us somewhere [to] Carolina maybe and it didn't have any really ill effects."

Childress is correct. Harvin was not feeling 100 percent but made the trip to Carolina with the Vikings for their loss on Dec. 20.

As for defensive end Ray Edwards and defensive tackle Kevin Williams, who are both suffering from knee injuries, Childress said "they did OK" in the work they did in Friday's practice. "We'll just see how they bounce tomorrow," Childress said. "That's always kind of the litmus test." Both players were listed as questionable on the Vikings' injury report.

Edwards, who suffered a sprained right knee last Sunday against Dallas, said in the locker room Friday that he plans on playing. Williams, who reportedly has a bone bruise on his left knee, would not comment on the status of his injury.

Also questionable are nose tackle Pat Williams (elbow/foot) and cornerback Benny Sapp (ankle/back). Williams and Sapp were listed as dealing with elbow and ankle problems, respectively, but the other injuries were added on Friday.

Listed as probable for the Vikings, meaning they will play, are cornerback Antoine Winfield (foot); wide receiver Bernard Berrian (ankle); guard Steve Hutchinson (shoulder); defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy (thumb); and linebacker Ben Leber (knee).
