The big incident of the morning was a rollover on southbound Hwy. 252 at 66th Avenue just before 7 a.m. That blocked one lane and led to a big log jam.
Other than that, commuters faced few delays. Lighter-than-normal levels of traffic and dry roads helped.
Trains and buses also ran on time.
A reminder that new parking rules go into effect in St. Paul this weekend. The city is restricting parking in residential areas to the odd-numbered side of the street.
Two incidents at this hour are leading to minor delays. The first is a crash on the right shoulder of northbound Hwy. 52 at Plato Blvd. An ambulance is on the scene.
The other is on southbound 35W at Lake Street in Minneapolis.
