Drivers are wasting copious amounts of time making the trip from Woodbury to Minneapolis. The latest estimates put the commute from Manning Avenue to the Lowry Hill Tunnel at 45 to 50 minutes.
It's almost as maddening on northbound 35W from County Road 42 to downtown Minneapolis. That is 39 minutes.
Northbound Cedar Avenue drivers are getting a lesson in patience, too. It's 20 minutes from County Road 42 up to the Crosstown.
It's not so good on westbound Crosstown where its 19 minutes from 28th Avenue over to Hwy. 169.
Our other bad spots include:
Eastbound 94 from the Crow River to the Maple Grove Split, southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to 694 and again from Johnson Street to Hennepin Avenue, and on westbound Hwy. 36 through Roseville.
