Weapon. Officers responded to an accidental shooting. A Chaska male had accidentally shot himself while reloading and holstering a handgun.

Property damage. A vehicle had tires slashed at a home on Ehlers Avenue.

JAN. 11

Bomb. The Bloomington bomb squad responded to a home on the 7100 block of Hwy. 212 regarding a possible unexploded cannon ball. The bomb squad confirmed it was a cannon ball and used C4 explosive to destroy it.

MEDINA

DEC. 22

Animal complaint. A raccoon was eating the corn set outside for squirrels at a home on the 1600 block of Homestead Trail. The resident was advised of the city ordinance regarding the use of firearms.

DEC. 24

Missing person. A 55-year-old man reported his 26-year-old wife was missing from their home on the 4100 block of Chippewa Road. He called back an hour later and reported she was found at a casino.

DEC. 26

Suspicious activity. A suspicious vehicle was parked on the 600 block of Shawnee Woods Road and a person was walking to the golf course. Officers located the individual, who had permission to trap coyotes.

Theft. Someone stole 100 bales of hay from a shed on the 4600 block of County Road 11.

JAN. 8

Animal complaint. A homeowner reported a chicken on the front porch of her home on the 3900 block of Wild Meadows Drive. She brought the chicken into her home but was fearful her dogs would harm it. The chicken was later released to its owner.

DEC. 27

Missing children. Two children were reported missing from a home on Ox Yoke Circle. The children were later found at a neighbor's house.

JAN. 7

Missing child. A 4-year-old boy was reported missing on the 9200 block of Hunters Court. Officers received a call three minutes later saying he just returned home.

JAN. 9

Traffic assistance. Traffic safety was provided by officers so a farmer could remove a large bale of hay from Hwy. 7.

PLYMOUTH

DEC. 25

Burglary. Two televisions were stolen from the exercise room at an apartment complex on the 1400 block of Olive Lane N.

DEC. 26

Burglary. A 21-year-old Eagan man was arrested for burglarizing a home on the 4300 block of Harbor Lane N.

JAN. 9

Fraud. The Bridal Spot, 10100 6th Av. N., closed. A woman had put a $700 deposit on a wedding dress that she never received and did not get the deposit returned to her.

JAN. 10

Theft. Two males, ages 17 and 19, were arrested for stealing four laptops from Robbinsdale Armstrong High School, 10635 36th Av. N. The laptops, worth $4,000, were recovered.

JAN. 24

Drugs. A 35-year-old woman was arrested for the sale of a controlled substance at Marathon Gas Station, 7744 12th Av. S.

JAN. 25

Theft. A 24-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle after she was stopped for not having her headlights on at 64th Street and Lyndale Avenue.

JAN. 27

Drunken driving. A 54-year-old Richfield man was arrested for drunken driving on 66th Street and Lyndale Avenue.
