A Green Line train struck a pedestrian Saturday night near the intersection of Lexington Parkway and University Avenue in St. Paul, causing some delays in service.
Metro Transit spokesman Howie Padilla said the incident happened just after 10 p.m. when an individual walked across the tracks illegally. There was no report of the person's condition.
The trains are back up and running with delays for a time running around 25 minutes, Padilla said.
