Three people were injured during an early morning shooting Tuesday in downtown Minneapolis.
The shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 100 block of N. 3rd Street, authorities said. The adult victims drove themselves to the Hennepin County Medical Center and were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, said Minneapolis police spokesman John Elder.
Police are investigating how the shooting happened but are getting conflicting stories, Elder said.
"We are continuing a strong presence in the downtown area especially in the later hours," Elder said. "We continue to ask for people's help in sharing information."
