Sometime this morning, commuters on Hwy. 55 and 149 in Eagan will see lane closures on both highways as the City of Eagan begins rebuilding portions of the highways.
Lane closures on Hwy. 149 between Hwy. 55 and I-494 and on Hwy. 55 between the east and west junctions of Hwy. 149 will be in place until November, according to MnDOT.
The work includes installing a new culvert under Hwy. 55, adding additional turn lanes, improving drainage along both corridors and sugnal upgrades.
