Drive times on south metro highways and freeways are risings almost as quick as flood waters. Estimated travel times on northbound 35W from the Burnsville Split to 494 is now 25 to 28 minutes.

Northbound Hwy. 169 is now 20 minutes from Canterbury Road to 494 as the highway absorbs traffic that normally would use Hwy. 41 or Hwy. 101 to cross the Minnesota River. Those crossings are flooded out and closed.

Hwy. 212 is slower than normal from Powers Blvd. to Shady Oak Road. That is now at 17 minutes.

Northbound 35E is looking just fine if that is your route. It's only 20 minutes from County 42 up to downtown St. Paul.

Southbound 35W and 35E continue to drag in the north metro. A crash on 35E at County J has traffic coming to a halt at Tart Lake Road. After that, it's 20 minutes to downtown St. Paul.

Southbound 35W is tight from 95th Avenue to 694 and 22 to 24 minutes to reach downtown Minneapolis.
