A crash on the right shoulder of eastbound 494 at France Avenue is enough to slow traffic down approaching the scene. Plan on 15 minutes from Hwy. 212 to 35W.
Travel times on northbound 35W are dropping. It wasn't long ago the trip from the Burnsville Split to downtown Minneapolis was at 28 minutes. It's now down to 22 with 14 of those needed from Crosstown to downtown Minneapolis.
In St. Paul, southbound 35E has pockets of congestion from Little Canada Road to downtown St. Paul. That is now at 11 minutes. That's much better than it was a half hour ago.
Elsewhere it's smooth sailing as traffic levels remain on the light side and things are clipping along at or near the posted speeds.
