Roads have a fine layer of snow but are mostly wet. That is helping stem the number of crashes. Still we have some.
Here is where mishaps are currently slowing traffic:
- Westbound 394 at Penn Avenue
- Southbound 35W at Hwy. 97 in Forest Lake
- Southbound 35W at 81st Street
- Eastbound 94 at Hwy .101 in Rogers
- Northbound 35E at Edgerton Street
- Eastbound Hwy. 169 at the Crosstown.
For a major traffic jam, look no farther than westbound Hwy. 10 from Hanson Blvd to Thurston Avenue. The traffic lights at Thurston are still out.
Westbound 94 is crowded from Hwy. 280 to the Lowry Hill Tunnel. That is about 25 minutes.
It's at a near standstill on northbound 100 from Crosstown to 36th Street. That is 42 minutes
Northbound 169 has improved. It's 32 minutes from 494 up to 63rd Avenue in Brooklyn Park.
