Commuters coming into the Twin Cities from places such as St. Cloud, Monticello and other towns along I-94 northwest of the metro can expect big time delays. The State Patrol says numerous vehicles have slid off the icy highway and landed in the ditch. Most of the activity is east of Hwy. 25 between Monticello and Albertville.
Here in the metro area, traffic is still light. There is a semitrailer truck stalled on northbound Hwy. 169 at 63rd Avenue in Brooklyn Park.
