7:35 a.m. update: A painless commute

Whew, we dodged a bullet as the predicted snow storm went south of the metro area, leaving our roads just wet and damp.

We've had only a couple accidents this morning, and even congestion levels have been low.

The tightest traffic is on 494 through Bloomington. Plan on 13 minutes between Hwy. 169 and Cedar Avenue in both directions.

On southbound 35W, the drive from 95th Avenue to Hwy. 280 is only 15 minutes.

A little jam up is slowing traffic on westbound 94 from Mounds Blvd. to 35E. Ahead, it's only 10 minutes to reach downtown Minneapolis.

Even our usual slow downs on 694 in the north metro are absent this morning. It's only 10 minutes between Hwy. 10 and Hwy. 252 in both directions.
