A man got out of his minivan in the median of a north-central Minnesota highway late at night and was struck and killed by an SUV, authorities said.
The incident occurred Sunday shortly after midnight on Hwy. 200 in Laporte, according to the State Patrol.
Luke Prescott, 45, of PrinceÂton, was standing on the left shoulder of the highway's southbound side when the SUV struck him, the patrol said.
