A woman's body was discovered Tuesday morning in a drainage ditch on the property of the National Sports Center in Blaine, police said.
A maintenance worker alerted police about 9:35 a.m., said Lt. Dan Pelkey. Foul play is not suspected.
The ditch is behind the center's Schwan Super Rink complex and near a city public works building, Pelkey said.
Pelkey, who was at the scene, east of Central Avenue and south of 105th Avenue NE, had no immediate information on the woman's name or circumstances.
