A Prior Lake attorney has been suspended from practicing for at least two months for professional misconduct.
Cameron Tario, 34, failed to competently and diligently represent clients in multiple bankruptcy matters and made false statements to conceal neglect, according to an order filed Monday by the Minnesota Supreme Court. He also failed to pay a law-related judgment until after an ethics complaint was filed against him.
Tario admitted the allegations, which were detailed in a disciplinary petition by the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility. After his suspension, he will be on supervised probation for two years and required to complete outpatient treatment for alcoholism.
