Casting call

Is Cristela Alonzo auditioning for "The View"? Sure seems like it. She wraps up four days of co-hosting the morning gabfest that has struggled to find the right panel. With her sitcom "Cristela" on the bubble, this seems like a decent backup plan. 10 a.m. Friday, KSTP, Ch. 5

Coming to terms

Bruce Jenner has spent much of the past decade playing second fiddle to his stepchildren. He's now front and center in a highly anticipated interview with Diane Sawyer on "20/20," talking about his gender identity. 8 p.m. Friday, KSTP, Ch. 5

Frank conversation

Radio personalities Dan Barreiro and Ron Rosenbaum, two self-proclaimed loudmouths, have a new weekly show in the last half of Fox 9's one-hour news block. In "Enough Said," they address national and local issues without reservations. 9:30 p.m. Friday, KMSP, Ch. 9

Get happy

"Happyish" hasn't had the happiest of histories. The comedy was originally intended to be a vehicle for the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, who was set to play a middle-aged man panicked that younger men at his ad agency will sweep him out. On the plus side, maybe this will finally be the project that makes Hoffman's replacement, Steve Coogan, a more recognizable name in the United States. 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Showtime
