BALLET OF THE DOLLS
Opens Friday: No music is safe around Myron Johnson, artistic director of Ballet of the Dolls. From pop to classical, he fancies them all. This weekend the always stylish dance troupe will perform "Hi-Brow and Lashes: Mozart, Mahler, Mancini and Myron," a salute to some great piano compositions re-imagined through the singular Dolls filter. In other words, the music may sound familiar but the dancing will add an entirely new dimension to these tunes. (8 p.m. Fri.-Sat., 4 p.m. Sun. $18.50-$27.50. Ritz Theater, 345 13th Av. NE., Mpls., 612-436-1129. www.ritzdolls.com.)
