Kathleen Jesme's prize-winning chapbook is now in print

Kathleen Jesme

Kathleen Jesme's chapbook, "Meridian," has been published by Tupelo Press. The book won the press' Snowbound Chapbook Award, an honor that sounds as though it could have been created specifically for Minnesotans, but of course was not.

Jesme lives in Minnesota and holds degrees from the University of Minnesota and Warren Wilson College. She is the author of three previous collections of poetry, one of which won the Lena-Miles Wever Todd Poetry Prize.

She will launch "Meridian" with a reading and book-signing at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Loft Literary Center, 1011 Washington Av. S., Mpls.
