A tradition that goes back 10 years and has little more explanation than the band has a "four" in its name – that, and people like to practice their freedom to drink over the Independence Day holiday – Dillinger Four's annual Dillinger Fourth bash at the Triple Rock will be expanded into a three-day festival of sorts this year with 16 other (mostly punk) bands.

The party will begin on the Fourth, a Thursday, and run through the weekend. Wristbands are now available to attend all three nights for $45 via Ticketfly (ages 18+), and there's a chance those might be the only way to get in the door any of those nights.

D4 is only scheduled to perform one of those nights (Friday), but guitarist/co-vocalist Erik Funk – who owns the Triple Rock with his wife, Gretchen – might make his bandmates perform at least one more night to cover/earn their bar tab. Here's the night-by-night lineup:

JULY 4: Banner Pilot, The Flatliners, A Wilhelm Scream, Arms Aloft, Such Gold, Our Own End

JULY 5: Dillinger Four, Riverboat Gamblers, Toys That Kill, Tenement, The Treasure Fleet, Bitch City

JULY 6: Off With Their Heads, Pegboy, The Arrivals, In Defence, Neutral Boy.
