Two big dogs on the local scene who got their start as mere pups, Sean McPherson (Heiruspecs) and Toki Wright now helm the hip-hop program at McNally Smith College of Music and are taking their lessons to the streets. OK, so they're actually taking them to public libraries, but it's still cool to know any kid can walk in off the street and learn from them. They kicked off a series of McNally Smith-sponsored clinics two weekends ago and are offering many more throughout the spring. Here is a rundown of the sessions left to go:
