Michael Rand started RandBall with hopes that he could keep lies from conquering the minds of the weak. So far, he's only succeeded in using the word "redacted" a lot. He welcomes suggestions, news tips, links of pure genius, and pictures of pets in Halloween costumes here, though he already knows he will regret that last part.

As is often the case when we spend an extended period of time talking sports with Rocket, we have come up with another statistical query related to baseball. It relates to "time of possession" in the sport, and it led us to this TWINS STAT OF THE DAY:
Did you know: The Twins have seen more pitches than their opponent in 18 of 20 games so far this season ... and that on average the Twins have seen 20 more pitches per game (158 seen, 138 thrown) than their opponents?
Of course you don't know that. You didn't spend precious moments of your life scouring box scores. But we did that so you don't have to. More to come in the NOTC (and online) tomorrow.
Don't hate us, Brandon.
