For those of you bummed that Target sold out its Missoni collection in seemingly mere seconds, there's a place where you can still find plenty of Missoni merchandise. You'll just need a much, MUCH higher paying job.

Somewhere lost in Missoni mania is that luxury retailer Neiman Marcus carries its own line of the Italian brand. The collection features the same 1960s vibe with similar prints, colors, and designs. As for the prices...well, that's a different story.

Through its website, Neiman Marcus offers a banded v-neck dress for a bargain price of $1,490. An Infinity scarf goes for $200 while a Jazel striped bath towel retails at $350.

At Target.com, a full Missoni outfit (including a space-dye knit shirt dress and pleated maxi skirt) will cost you about $105. Scarves go for $64.99, a complete bath collection retails from $10.99 to $34.99.

So if you're still wondering why there were hoards of shoppers willing to sell their souls and first born children for Target Missoni merchandise, the price differential explains it all.

In a down economy, shoppers still like a little luxury, even if it comes from a retailer with a dog as its mascot.
