Jim is from Sunrise, Minn., but has lived most of his life in St. Paul. He’s been a reporter, columnist and copy editor at several dailies, including the St. Paul Dispatch and Pioneer Press, Red Wing Republican Eagle, Mankato Free Press, Eau Claire (Wis.) Leader-Telegram and the St. Petersburg Times. He worked two years as a reporter in the Star Tribune’s East Metro Bureau.
