Word from MnDOT is that the single lane construction zone in Lakeville should be wrapping up by early next week. Until then, commuters making the drive between County 70 and County 50 will have to endure delays. Today, the log jam is back in place and things are crawling.
Police are checking into a gun pointing incident on 694 in Brooklyn Center. The perp is allegedly now heading south on I-94 near Dowling Avenue. Can you say road rage?
The latest is that cops have caught up with the driver and has the vehicle stopped at Olson Hwy. Two lanes were briefly blocked. Things jam at Broadway. Scanner chatter says it is a "high risk" stop.
