Welcome to the summer movie season, when actors don skintight polymers, superheroes clog the skies and explosions assail us from every angle.
If you thought last year’s apocalyptic "Dark Knight" and "Avengers" movies were the last word in devastation, cinch your seat belt. I count a half dozen movies this summer with story lines that include Earth being destroyed.
But not all the spectacle comes clad in spandex.
