Stevie Wonder

March 29: Back when albums had two sides and headphones weren't mobile devices, Stevie Wonder's "Songs in the Key of Life" was a landmark. It was an album of substance, depth, range, length and sonic beauty, which you could appreciate at home with your headphones. The 21 songs — spread over two LPs and one 7-inch EP — include such favorites as "Sir Duke," "I Wish" and "Isn't She Lovely." The 1976 recording became Wonder's biggest seller and earned him his third album-of-the-year Grammy. In his first Twin Cities appearance in 27 years, the Motown standard-bearer will play "Songs in the Key of Life" in its entirety. It should be as eventful as the album itself. (8 p.m. March 29. $39.50-$149.50. Target Center, 600 1st Av. N., Mpls. 1-888-929-7849, www.axs.com.)
