Two $1 million tickets from Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing were sold in Minnesota, but the winners hadn’t claimed their prizes as of Wednesday.
The winning tickets were bought in Blue Earth and Chisago counties and matched the first five numbers drawn: 12-20-25-50-51.
Winners have a year to pick up the prize.
A winner stepped up after a news report this month of an unclaimed $1 million Powerball ticket sold in November.
Over the past five years, 10 big prizes expired after not being claimed for a year, worth $1.5 million.
