One thing I failed to mention from last night's game: When Jamey Carroll singled in the first inning yesterday, it was the Twins' first hit in 15 innings. It was their longest hitless streak since they began divisional play in 1969.
We hope to speak with the newest Twin, Erik Komatsu, today.
No word on any pitching moves yet, but it would make sense for the Twins to have Scott Diamond meet them in the Twin Cities on Monday and start on Tuesday. Diamond was pulled after three innings and 47 pitches on Friday, which would allow him to come back and start on Tuesday.
Apparently, the opponents weren't pleased with Miguel Sano last night.
Will check back in later with lineups and updates.
